The Empowering Feeling of Creating a Start-up Should Be Experienced By More Of Us

Being able to create something and sometimes quickly be able to have it have an effect on people , in some cases thousands of them. It’s an experience unlike any other. You learn more about yourself and what your capable of than [...]

While we have all read a Star or OK magazine from time while checking out at the store (You may not admit but you know you have) it was mostly a disconnected experience for us. We may [...]

Well, on February 8th the FCC took a step and voted to overhaul the Universal Service Fund so that those funds can [...]

Shoppers flocked to the Web for Holiday Shopping This Year
Did you get some nice gifts this year? Odds are at least some of those gifts were bought online. Consumers purchased gifts online in record numbers this year. According to an article on WSJ.com Sales online rose 15.4 this year as retailers offered web only deals and free shipping. That combination caused people to shop online in record numbers. Which explains why I didn’t see huge crowds at the stores until after the shipping window [...]

An Open Letter to James Rucker
I had several initial reactions to your piece but I knew that others would have knee-jerk, emotional reactions as people often do, and that type of reaction normally fuels these policy debates, but we never really get to real facts. Your article really only brings two feelings for me, and those are confusion and concern. First, I’m confused about what your goals are here. I’ve watched you write articles, give speeches and have even sat [...]
